If your setup is like the Monaco/Beaver (with multiplex) note how there are diodes used to allow power from either side of switch (in/Out) to power pump without back-feeding the other side side of switch (and pump solenoid).

If that Diode went bad that supplies power to pump you could not get power to run the pump in one of the directions (either IN or Out depending on which diode failed). If both Diodes went bad in the set, the pump would not run to move slide-out in either direction.

Then you need to run your Generator slide switch to get power "to pump", so the Slide moves. That says the Slide switch is working (power getting to solenoids (for In/out function) but power not getting to Pump for motor to run.

So find these Diodes (probably located close to solenoids/pump) and see if one or more are bad.

If the system thinks the park brake is not set, it will not activate those slides. Check the park brake indicator on the dash.

I had forgotten about this switch. It is probably the problem as I once before had an issue with the slides not working properly then it got so they would work and the engine could be started even before the slides retracted. Many thanks.
