Monaco tie rod replacement parts

I need to replace both tie rod ends on my 2004 Monaco knight 38pdq. I have been looking for part numbers or a manufacture on the internet. Monaco tech./ parts department does not carry them and will not give me the vendor info to get them. Any help would be great!!! This is the best site for rv help, with the most knowledgeable rver's...

I have a question of a sort. I need come retaining washers for my door, but don't have the telephone number for Monaco parts. Could you kindly tell me what number you called to get the info you did get from Monaco. Maybe they might be able to help me with my problem.

Is there a number on the tie rod ends that maybe could be cross-referenced. Monaco probably purchased them from one of the large vendors who manufacture truck parts. I suppose I need to be thinking about finding a supplier also, since my unit is a 2002 and getting a few miles on it. Thanks for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Monaco's phone number to call for support is 877-466-6226. You will need to have the last 6 of the vin number for them to look up your coach info.

DMECK, look on your front axle for the manufacturers name (most likely in the center) and give them a call. They should be able to provide you the numbers and parts. Monaco (Roadmaster) didn't make those parts and bought them as a complete unit. Same with the rear end.

If the axle is Eaton, they are part of Arvin / Meritor. Check here:

The tag will be in the front side of the I beam axle in the middle. Most likely it will say Spicer or Dana Spicer. What you are interested in is the Part Number and it will be something like E10001 or E1000W or E1200I or E1200W. If you get me that part number of the axle then I can give you the Spicer part number for the tie rod ends. There is one left hand and one right hand threaded tie rod end.

Give these guys a call and give them your axle part number and they can either sell you are give you the part number for the correct tie rod ends.

Home | Westport Axle

Westport Corporate Office

Louisville, KY 40245
PHONE: (502) 425-2103
FAX: (502) 425-2508

Really surprised that it is not a Spicer axle but they could be using the Spicer axle and renaming it.
