Monaco window clip latch DH343CK

Vertical Window Spring Latches replacement for DH343CK Retainer Clip.

After replacing 2 of these "factory latches" in my RV, I decided to try a better solution.
Searching the web I found these "Spring Latches". 4ea $4.71
4pcs Cabinet Metal Spring Loaded Bolt Latch Fixed Type | eBay
In the attached photos you can see what I did .
If someone wants to try it, be careful not to puncture or drill the glass.
I had to enlarge slightly the latch holes so that the holes in the window fall into the correct position.
I use two aluminum POP Rivet diameter 3/16 "with two washers to better cover the gaps.
As stops I use the same hole and screw of the original latch and add two more to have three opening positions of the window.
Use three rubber bumpers 1/4" high so do not obstruct the movement of the screen.
A little black paint at the end.
Hopefully this solution helps someone.

thanks for the tip. You could even paint in black to blend into the color of the window frame.
