Having removed the couch in my road-side slide, I also needed a work-area and I chose a Walmart solution (i.e., inexpensive). However, I can't find it on Walmart's web site at this moment. But because they have similar products, I'll proceed...
It is called a "kitchen cart" or "portable island". My cabinet has raised-panel doors, a single drawer (but not meant for keyboard), and a hinged, fold-down shelf on its right side. I discarded two features of this cart: (1) the roll-around wheels, and (2) the towel bar that mounted on the left side. Color: natural wood. The unit requires assembly. It fit nicely under my front-facing widow of the road-side living-room slide. Our cat uses the top as a spot from which to look out an open/screened window. I flip-up the fold-down shelf to support my laptop. The printer is on the bottom shelf, and I ran AC power into this cabinet for the laptop and printer.
