Monacoers group
I hope that suggesting another site is not considered out of line.
IMO the following site may be of interest to anyone visiting this "Monaco Owner's Forum".
It is a very informative and helpful group, and quite active (20 to 50 new posts dally).
According to the rules it is open to owners of Monaco branded coaches as well as those coaches produced by the Monaco Coach Corporation and Monaco LLC.
I have found that they also help with coaches that where built by companies that were not owned by Monaco at the date of manufacture, (Safari, Beaver, Haney, HR, etc.),
but whose parent company was acquired by Monaco at a later date.
You may have to register to surf the messages, but it costs nothing and is well worth the time.

Not only do you have to register, you have to wait to be approved before you can see any posts.

And you have to have a yahoo.com e-mail address. I don't need another account :-)

If you join Monacoers, it is a requirement to use your real first name and initial of last name.
Don't think you have to have a Yahoo email address, but Yahoo would like for you to have one.
If joining, make SURE TO CHANGE the default way you receive messages from the group From EMAIL to one of the two other choices of Digest or Web. My choice is to read all the messages on-line so I chose Web, but that is just me. If you do not change the default, you will get every group message delivered to your email address.

Monacoers can be a good site but any Yahoo forums are "dumbed" down. There is no way to attach photos. You cannot have a permanent signature and more. The files section is quite good. I think Rex has his excellent parts database on that site. Unlike this site there can be a lot of fighting. The forum owner is quite knowledgeable. I think he once worked for Monaco.

A couple of corrections.
You don't need a Yahoo email address to join a Yahoo forum. You do need a Yahoo sign in.
The owner of the Monacoers forum was never a Monaco employee.

I don't find a way to join without adding a yahoo account which means I have to sign up for a @yahoo.com, @ymail.com or @rocketmail.com account.. and I don't need another e-mail account.

I am of the opinion that anyone that own a Monaco coach needs to be in contact with the folks on the Monacoers site.
Bill D. and some of the other guys have been 'working' on Monaco coaches practically since the first ones were made. There's not much that fools them.

Monacoers
Hi,
Bill D stated that he has worked with Monaco over the years to better understand systems and build methods. This allows Bill to provide an amazing amount of technical advise to all owners of most Monaco products. Fred White and Bill are co moderaters of the site with Bill D being the owner of the site. It is highly informative!

Monacoers
Hi,
I would be remiss without mentioning Rex being a major part of our group. Rex collects and administers the files that contain so much of the info that is available on Monacoers. I don't know how much time is spent on it but it has to be significent. It is a great source of info that we all rely on. In the recent times there have been newer members that have been more aggresive in their views but with time they either settle into the rules of the site or are asked to move on. I think Bill likes to give new members time to adjust to the rules of his group.
Although I read this site all the time, Monacoers is my goto site for tech info

I'm pretty sure that you are mistaken.
Bill Duckwitz has spent a lot of time talking to Monaco employees, but he was never one himself. He spent something like 35 years in the military.

I have been a member of the Monacoers group for several years. I have read almost all of the posts since I joined. I have neve read where Bill D stated he was an employee of Monaco. Bill is very knowledgeable of the Monaco coaches. However there are many other members who also possess reams of knowledge. If you post a problem most of the time it is answered in a short time. On this site I have saw problems not being addressed for several days. As no site is perfect neither is the Monacoers site. As Rex stated if you don't want a lot of emails select that function on sign up. You do not need a Yahoo email address to sign up only a yahoo account.
