Monitor for inside coach

Hi All,
This is Mich Bill. We have a 2009 Monaco Dynasty Regal IV. It has the "security Monitor " that allows you to see the outside and the inside of the coach. The outside cameras work fine, however, the inside one not so much. It rolls, like when we had to adjust that on the B/W TV, and the image is what in photography would be called solarized. The image is kind of like negative and not sharp. It also appears to have too much light for the image. I have gone into the box and adjusted the cables to ensure correct connection. I have attempted to do the adjustment to the "settings" but I can't seem to figure the settings out. Any thought would be helpful.
Thank you
Bill

Our security camera is a dome camera above the driver. You can replace the camera with a cheap NTSC 12V dome camera as the way you describe your issues that is your problem. To verify you could switch cables with another camera on the video switching unit, mine is under dash cover panel in front of steering wheel.

Solarized and rolling both could be caused by a bad signal. You either have a bad connection, a broken wire, or the camera is failing.

It's possible, but not likely, that the problem is in the monitor. I'm not familiar with it: does it have connectors that would allow you to temporarily swap camera positions? If you can swap the inside and outside cameras at the monitor, and the problem remains with the inside camera, you can safely say that the monitor is not the issue. However, if the problem is now on the outside camera and the inside looks good, then you know the camera is good and the problem is with the monitor.
