WOOOO-HOOOO!!!!
Sacs and I are very happy for the two of you ...and yes .. a little envious!

We are excited that you will hitting the road soon...and yes...we will be seeing you somewhere on the road! (even if it is at the "Troll Station"! )

Enjoy the fishin' ...the spouse and the LaPalma ...not neccessarily in that order!

I've been retired for almost 5 years, fortunate to take that step at 55. The odd thing is that I'm busier than ever.

Busy, yes, but busy with only the things I choose to be busy with. Life is GRAND!

Enjoy your new life...congratulations!

Congratulations Rick and Mick,
It felt like it took me forever to get to retirement at age 52. But now that it's here....it still felt like it took forever!!
Welcome to the club. Like Les said I'm busier and waaaaay more happier than ever now. Annnnd, I don't remember the date either, just that it's 2008!
You deserve every bit of your retirement and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!

Congratulations to all on the retirement. I'm sure that it was well deserved after many hard years of hard work.
Here's something that I do to keep in touch with the people back my old workplace. I have my DW take pictures of me sleeping at different places that go and I send them, saying wish you were here. Or if there is alot of snow I call in to tell them that I can't make it in. That most of the time brings silence on the other end of the phone.
