Thanks for all of the comments folks. Moved it today, put all slides in, pulled up, then all slides back out.

Still don't see the issue, moving my big butt from coach to coach or on off bed is more stress than crawling a few feet on the level. I do it every once in a while on nice level ground and as long as you bring the air up.

We just recently took a Navistar tour observing new Monaco and Holiday Rambler coaches on the line and as I remember the coach is moved and was worked on with the slides out, It goes from station to station with the slides out. Very slow and very level!

FYI- Many of the Monaco techs in Coburg drove the rigs with the slides out when they were moving from the service bay to the camp site outside. I don't think a few feet on level ground would have hurt anything.
