MS2012 Camelot How to use furnace.

How do I set the Magnum remote? Im confused on how to set the furnace. What is the difference between diesel burner and generator?

I tested the AGS today and it worked but after reading here I dont think Im suppossed to have the generator running while plugged into 50 shore.

I plan to stay plugged into 50 for the winter.

I appreciate any advice.

I found a manual online but it covers several inverter models and time is getting short.

Did the person / dealer that sold you this coach walk you thru the systems that it has?

Let's start with leaving your generator off while plugged into 50A shore power.

Thank you for the response

I think I've got it now. Just keeping an eye on the inverter temperatures I think Magnum told me not to let it go over 80 degrees Fahrenheit does that sound right?

No, nobody went over the systems with me we bought this through salvage auction and purchase for less than 1/2 the original owner paid for extras and my husband's very handy so he has restored it. I am learning and am running the systems.

Nice looking coach, congrats !
I've never really concerned myself with the temp of the inverter. It has an internal fan that comes on when it's working hard.
It would be a good idea for you to power things down, and unplug your 50A power cable once a month, and run your generator for a couple of hours, with a few appliances running (heat pumps etc). It's good for the generator.

Thank you I should do that with a generator and I will. I'm keeping an eye on the inverter because it overheated and the fans failed and I just replaced them and everything seems to be going well. I'm very happy because the snow is supposed to be coming tomorrow thanks again

If your plugged in to 50A, leave the inverter switched off. Power will just pass right thru it.

Did the coach come with all the appliance manuals, including the Magnum inverter manual? It's available online if it didn't.
You should probably go thru the setup screen to make sure the settings are correct for charging your battery bank. Kinda sounds like your charger may be overworking.

No, that is not right. 80 degrees centigrade (180 F) yes, that's basically the upper limit. Heck, most summer days are over 80 F!

Mine typically runs about 100-120 degrees on an average day.
