MSN fuel price web site??

Where did the [ MSN fuel price web site go ]
I have been using it for years and now it is gone.
I know a lot of you folks use Gas Buddy,I have used it also but you need to put in a address or zip code for it to work.

On MSN fuel price site there is a map that you can move in the direction you are going to see the price ahead of you.
It was a great tool.
I hope it comes back or some one knows what happened?

Gas buddy on a smart phone has local prices and you can move the map and it will update to that area. With zoom in and out you can move state to state if needed.

That would work IF I had a smart phone.

When I open Gas Buddy there are four columns.the first 3 are gas and the 4th is diesel.
Just click the one you want and it shows the price.

I use Gasbuddy all the time. I use the Gas Price Heat Index map. They've changed the way it works, before you could zoom in on any area and after you got to a fairly small area it would bring up gas prices. Once you see gas prices there is a drop down menu on the bottom right side of the map that gives you the ability to change gas grades or diesel. Also, if you click on a fuel price it will bring up the store name, address, and the price of all fuels.

You can also go to gas prices by area and it will give you prices in a table, I believe there is a tab at the top the you can click to change the table to diesel prices.

On my last trip I saved +$0.20/gallon in 2 locations pumping in excess of 100 gallons. Every little bit helps.

Gas Buddy has to many "7/11" type stations that we would NEVER be able to get out of at 60' plus (with toad). We use www.findfuelstops.com which is aimed at truck stops with no in & out problems. Some say that truck stops are higher $$ but filled yesterday on I-20 for $3.27 diesel...found on the above site.

I think this is the msn site you're looking for. We use it quite a bit. (We don't do smart phones either!)

http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx

Same for findfuelstops. Truck oriented, listings are generally reliable and "big rig" accessible.

One more which might be helpful is fuelmyroute.com but as mentioned about GasBuddy it will list smaller stations which aren't necessarily accessible with an RV.
