My thoughts exactly, Bob.
RV absorption-refrigerators work on a cycle of boiling and condensing an ammonia-based solution for cooling, rather than compressors like a home-frig, and they release the excess heat at the rear of the frig. Unless the external fan(s) kick in to force cooler air over the frig-coils during hot periods, the unit depends on convection cooling to draw in outside air at the lover cover and lift it up and out the upper cover. The cooler the rear is, the better it'll work - especially on a hot day.
I notice you have the frig in the slide-out, which has the 2 covers in the sidewall rather than one down low and a second 'chimney' in the roof. There seems to be a few more problems in general with sufficient cooling with the wall-configuration, although it doesn't seem to be a widespread concern. However, it would be a good idea to watch the temperatures to be sure the small holes in the window screen aren't aggravating a cooling-issue. Maybe go with a bit larger-mesh?
HTH,
Ron
