OK! Its tooooo quite. Here some issues We need help with:: Back in late May we took a lighting
spike. At the time, We didn't have surge protector. (Do now) A couple months later we notice the Magum display was showing scramble
numbers across screen. I called Monaco. They provided us with the procedure to reset the inverter and the magum display. Everything worked well. Except now the House and chasise batteries will not charge. I have had to run the generator for 10/15 min, then use the battyery boost to start the engine and recharge the batteries. This may not be enough info, the question: Because of the lighting spike, was the silenoid damaged. Or is it the batteries. Of course they need to be tested. Yes! I have maintained the water in the Batteries. I have an appointment with Cummings care coach this Thur for Oil, filter etc etc changes, it due. But before I take the coach in, I need some imput from you all.
If its a selinoid (two spellings) whats the cost. An
if its battereis, what type to replace, etc etc.
Thanks in advance. Iam counting on you all to spin me in the right directions.

Gysies:
I doubt the spike killed the batteries...I would look to the the solenoid, or other electrical components (chargers, etc.)
Good luck.

Does the Magnum display show that you're charging, ie: bulk, float, etc. If it does, I would throw a volt meter on the batteries when it says you are charging and see what the voltage is.

About two months after I bought my coach we pulled into Calico Ghost town and started setting up a dry camp. As I was putting out the slides I saw that the Magnum display was doing exactly as you described. The Inverter worked, but the display never came back. I called Magnum and they immediately shipped me a new display no charge.

I didn't check at the time if my batteries were charging.

Good Luck
