My Solar Upgrade Pics

Here are some pics of my recent Solar upgrade to my 2002 HR Imperial. I haven't uploaded many pics before so bear with me and I will eventually get it right. The first and third pics are the old system.

You might have noticed that I also upgraded the Tank Monitors to a SeeLevel system. Here are a couple of pics on that.

Looks nice, what are the specifics? Panels charge controller? You may also want to post it or move it to Going Green sub forum.

I have never noticed the Going Green Forum. Thanks for the tip. Not sure how I would move it now. Maybe a Moderator has to do that?

I'm glad you posted it here as I am trying to learn what I can do to ours,
not to 'be green' but to make our rv more usable.

Thanks !

I installed 4 - 100 watt solar panels and changed the solar controller to a Blue Sky 3000i. I purchased them from AM Solar. They have a solar panel kit that includes brackets and screws to attach to the roof. The kit provided everything I needed. SF100 Solar Panel with Accessories — AM Solar

On the tank monitors, did you use the original wiring or did you need to run
new wires?
Thanks, Iver.

I was able to use the old wires. In fact, there were 3 sets of old wires. (One for each tank monitor. I just used 1 set (2 wires) to connect the 3 SeeLevel Monitors. Very easy to hook up.
