My wife's not happy
Well this week I sold our motorhome. We have been talking for some time about selling our Windsor and maybe downsizing to something smaller. This week I thought I would test the waters. I advertised it on Wednesday and sold it on Thursday wow! My wife was like I thought you said it would take a while to sell.

The phaeton we are interested in is the 36 footer. Four foot shorter than our Windsor.

All 4 of the RVs we owned over 3+ decades were 34'-40', floorplan was the only noticeable difference between them. Not much discernable difference betweens RVs that are just a few feet bigger or smaller, have fun enjoying your next big rig.

Yeahhhhhh kinda figured you’d be back in the market sooner rather than later. Happy wife, happy life. The word sell better not come out my husband’s mouth until the wheels fall off.

When we "upsized" the biggest noticeable change was how sharp the Beast would turn. Wheelbase went from 200" to 240", a full 20 ft!
Before I could pull our 32' Fleetwood into Wendy's, park in the back and get a burger. Not so with the 38' HR Endeavor.
Good luck with your search.

Tiffin????
Your Monaco is made so much better than a Tiffin! That's like 3 steps backwards! There's no way I would sell my Monaco/HR, it's a 2002 and we LOVE IT!!!
Check the quality before you buy.....cabinets solid wood or that flimzy material. Is there enough storage, they don't put in overhead cabinets to give the coach a more open look!
Can you walk around the bed to make it, does have those tiny sinks, what about closet space?
Hope everything works out for you both!
Good Luck!

You have not really seen a Tiffin, at least not a Phaeton or a BUS. Yes, they have solid wood cabinets, quality construction and more storage than any other coach that I have seen. Entegra's and Newmar's don't come close to a Tiffin, storage-wise.

I tend to agree. I have an 06' HR and while I absolutely love it a family member owns a 16' Phaeton and it is truly next level. Both are well built coaches, but I would never snarl at the Phaeton in terms of luxury or build quality.

Good luck with the search. When I got my Diplomat, I was also looking at used Phaetons, and the occasional Bus. It was interesting, in the pre emissions vintage, the price difference between the Phaetons and Buses wasn't very big.
