my Xantrex wont shut off

hi guys, new to me monaco dynasty with a Xantrex Trace Inverter and the RC7-GS wont shut off? My battery's drain when we have it parked at the house and i cant seem to shut off the inverter? i now just flip offf the battery switches but i would rather just turn it off.
when i press the on/off button it just beeps at me. my switch on the actual inverter is switched to the on position so the remote will work. i can manually start my generator from the remote panel.
any ideas?

On the RC7 remote, press and hold the on/off button for a few seconds. If it still beeps at you something is not the same as mine.

Do you see the green light flickering on the remote?

You can also just turn the switch on the actual inverter to "off".

Do you have the Xantrex manual...it does a pretty good job of explaining how everything works but it does take some practice.

If you do not have the manual, go online to see if you can find it from manufacturer.

Go to the inverter and unplug the patch cable(tele-line) and leave it for a minute
then plug it back in this should rest the remote control panel

There are many other loads that will also drain your house batteries other than the inverter that will eventually discharge your batteries. Letting them discharge will reduce the life of the batteries. I plug into a 20 amp circuit at home with a 30 amp + 20 amp adapters and the batteries stay full. You just cannot overload the circuit with a heavy load.
