Mysterious Toggle and Rocker Switches

Hi. I was wondering if anyone can guess what these switches are for. I have a 1999 La Palma I recently purchased. It is in excellent condition with only 34K on it. I am a fairly technical guy but can't figure out what these switches are for. The first "toggle" switch is close to my brake controller so I'm guessing it might have something to do with that. I also have two "rocker" switches on the dash (F53). One is marked with a labeller "RET" and the other is marked "W". Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well the one marked with RET will be your exhaust brake or what is also called a retarder.

Wonder if I can retrofit that option into mine.

I don't think it's an engine retarder since it's a gas unit. The DW didn't think that was funny.... but I did!

Look under the RV and see if there is a steering stabilizer. I could be you have a center steering adjustment like I have.

Unless you can contact the previous owner, all you can do is give them a try, see what happens. May want to be parked at the time .

I am unfamiliar with a center steering adjustment (thought that what steering wheels are for?). I do have steering stabilizer.

Wideglide: I have tried them, can't figure out what they do. Thx. I think the toggle switch may be for the toad brake lights, since I got a wiring diagram off this sight for an aux. toad lighting system. Looks like the original owner may have been a member of IRV2. 1 down, 2 to go.

I had an Endeavor on a P53 chassis. I had a dash rocker switch for the Auxiliary heater fan in the Rear bedroom (heater was under the bed)and another that turned the dash radio speakers in the bedroom on/off.
Another one was the main power for all basement lights

My mistake, the top rocker switch is labelled "RED" not "RET". Still don't know what two rockers are for. Thanks for the responses so far.
