Need 12 volts under sink

I have a 2001 knight and I am in need of either 12 vdc or 120vac under kitchen sink which is on a slider. I want to install a uv drinking water filter under sink

Does anyone have a suggestion as how to install there.

There is a (12v) light switch just to left of sink but unfortunately it is to right of an aluminum stud and where I need to come out under sink is to the left of the stud

Cannot see any way coming from bottom (from storage bins) as the wiring would only be damaged when opening and closing slider

You may be able to tie into the wiring harness that extends or retracts with the slide, or if your bath or toilet is next to the slide then tap into the harness located next to the toilet. Look under the sink in the bath or remove the drawers on the cabinet.

Next to my kitchen slide is the shower (no slide) and this is where the harnesses are but as Murphy would have it there is only a 5" x 5" opening uner shower just enough room to see the harness and tease you not enough to get at without removing shower.

Thought about mounting unit in compartment under bathroom sink but again Murf had his way and put holding tanks in that location.

This is mostly for when we are in Mexico so I guess I can mount the unit in one of the compartments (near water hookup) and just fill some gallon milk jugs every day or so for drinking and tooth brushing purposes

By the way I am also an E9 retired but USCG

There should be a 120 volt junction box on the slide somewhere. The slide 120 volts is fed from a flexable cord, kind of like a heavy duty black extension cord, and then goes to a junction box to feed the outlets on the slide. Pull out all your drawers and also look for any screwed on access panels that might be hiding the box. It is probably on the slide towards the rear of the MH. There will also be a gas line, water feed lines and a drain line in the same area. Open the box. Make sure the power is OFF, and add an outlet off of it.

Found where everything enters the slide. Did pull out the drawer under the oven and it was near the front of the oven. I had drawer out before and was looking for entry near the back. Stuck my fat head in (thankful its a large drawer) and there it was. Closest and easiest to get to is the 12 vdc which I will use with a small inverter as I only need 10 watts of power and that way my filter will work even in a dry camp mode

Thanks to all answerers - you are the best and I have found a friend in the !rv forum -m it has been bookmarked

Sounds like you found it ... my galley slide has 12v wiring to basement storage compartment lights ...also to lights inside the motorhome. I figured your slide had to have a light or two inside the rig if not outside!!
