Need a draft cap assembly for Atwood Furnace

Anyone know who has in stock a draft cap assembly, part number 38139, for an Atwood 8500 series furnace?

Tried to order one online yesterday and got an email this morning listing it as being on back order with no timeline given.

Looked at Northwest RV and they didn't show one, but will give them a call once they open this morning.

Guess we are going to be forever in this damn supply chain shortage, or whatever name they call it today.

Thanks in advance for your help, as usual...

Good luck!

It's not so much a 'supply chain' issue but a production/support issue

Atwood 79/80-85/89 series are no longer in production and support is not there because Dometic has their own line of furnaces DFSD, DFMD, DFLD models and Dometic is pushing Atwood out completely.

Atwood Parts NLA (No longer Available) OOS (Out of Stock) and NOT going to be available

RV Salvage Yard.......??

Check Dometic DF Models part list to 'see' if any exhaust tubes are compatible
*Dometic likes making slight changes so parts are not

After getting ahold of Dometic, they told me that they no longer manufacture this part. Don't know why all these RV Parts places still have it listed and being "back ordered"when they know full well that they will never be getting this part.

Took out my 4" angle grinder, had at 'er, and after a few minutes shoved the old tube back into it's hole. Furnace still won't work, so must be the gas valve or circuit board, I assume?

On to other matters...oh dear, oh dear!
