Need financing for a 2011 H.R. Ambassador
Hi Folks, Can anyone point me in the right direction for RV Financing? I looked at Essex and their interest rate is 4.89 for 20 years, I'd really like a lower interest rate if it's still possible. If you know of a lender with a lower interest rate please let me know.
Thank You for any help you can send my way!

Tom,
If you are a Veteran USAA is hard to beat. I'm currently using them and have always had good success.

US Bank

Better terms than I was able to get with USAA.

I financed back in May with Alliant Credit Union. They used to be the credit union for United Airlines but have since gone to the open market. They were Very competitive on their rate (best I could find in the RV market) and VERY easy work with.
Check them out: Alliant - An Online Credit Union for all your banking needs

We used Alliant as have many of our friends. Call and ask for J.J. They know what they are doing , especially if you are a full timer. Only fax required where copies of our DL etc for ID. Everything else was done online including signing the loan documents. They are very service oriented, even after the deal is done
Ours was done very near a holiday. A wire transfer of funds to our acct from another bank was screwed up, not sent in a timely manner which was holding up the finalization of the documents. One of the employees even stayed at least an hour past quitting time to wait for the funds to post and get the documents done.
Can't ask for better service which in my opinion may be better than a slight difference in interest rate.

Looks like US Bank loans only go up to $150,000 according to their web site. They must have changed their limits since that's who my loan is through.

I'm normally a USAA Bank fan, but we had problems with financing our coach. USAA just kept running me in circles.
I went to Suntrust Bank. They had great rates and fast easy service. Looks like the rates are headed up from a few months ago.

Just a little note....... Most Banks will lower the rate by a 1/2 point(%) if you have them take payment directly out of account!!!!! US bank is who I have.Good luck and don't forget that Good Sam also do RV loans!!!! Worth a call.
