Need help identifying items in attached picture

This is the third summer that we have owned our 2001 Endeavor and are planning a trip next month. I have always been curious about what the two devices/filters/? are in the attached picture. They are in the compartment with the water fuel separator and the power jack hydraulic fluid cylinder.

Also, where is the Air Dryer? Is it in my picture? My air system seems to be ok but I suppose I need to check it out and maybe change the filter.

My problem is that I purchased this MH from a wholesaler and it was a repo so I don't have any history on the vehicle. It only has 44K and has been a good vehicle so far.

Thanks.

The filter in the foreground , may be the air dryer , and the canister in the rear , hydraulic fluid reservoir ( power steering or hydraulic rad fan )
I'd have to see a picture looking up to be sure.
Here's a pdf on air dryer service on two common air dryers.

The dryer filter canister is easy to change if you have a large strap wrench. I bough my last filter an a nearby truck service shop. Mine is a Wabco Metor.

In my manual there is a section on the dryer & filter. ,Same with they hydraulic system, there should be filter that you can replace.

Also, you should have 1 page that lists all the replacement filter & belt numbers.

If you don't have a manual it may be in the archives section on the Monaco website under owners center.

Good Luck
Jim

So, can you just change the canister without having to disconnect all the fittings, etc? Like an oil filter...

Yes, it is a spin off filter, you should be able to clean it enough to get a number off of it and buy a replacement. Cost should be <$40
