Need help with finding a replacement part for passenger mirror

I currently have a 2001 Windsor Monaco and had the top mirror on the passenger side fall out of the housing. To hold the mirror in the plastic round housing, there are 6 small plastic tabs on the back of the mirror that hold the mirror in the housing. 5 of the 6 plastic tabs are broken in the round part in the back of the mirror. The mirror is heated and in good shape. But the plastic piece that houses the mirror with the round, I want to say round male end with the broken tabs is what I need. I think the part number is 10107864. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Gary, welcome to the forum. I see this is your first post.

Can I suggest you start with posting the manufacturer of the mirror, and possibly a picture of the part. Velvac made many of these and they are still in business.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

As Paul said, we need more info to be able to help. Did you get a build sheet that shows model numbers for various components? If not, check the mirror carefully for a plate or sticker with the model number.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thumbs down Passenger Mirror

I had to replace the mirror and housing on my 04 Windsor due to an altercation with a military vehicle. Velvac was the manufacturer and I ordered a new one direct from them for $420...easy install. They also sell parts.

Thanks

I was able to call Velvac in Wisconsin and get the part I needed from Texas in two days. It is always great to be able to get the information needed from iRV2 and the good people that belong to this forum.
