Your rv outlet would have a ignition interlock it may have failed. Do you see something like that some photos would help.

200 holrama-

Welcome to iRV2!

Re: Trailer electric brake controller and its connections. You should be able to install a controller without having to cut, splice or run a new wire up front, under the dash. "Plug and play." Here is a link to an adapter to fit in the Ford-factory-provided connector. The rear connector may require you to extend some existing wires to the coach hitch connector.

The trailer electric brake controller connector is buried in the dash- maybe reachable from left and below the steering column, maybe not. See this post for an idea of what you are looking for. The dash panel should not be too difficult to remove; I have done it several times.

There are other posts in the same thread (some are mine) that you'll find helpful.

Also, iRV2 user "Subford" has a lot of experience on late-1990s and early-2000s F-53 chassis wiring. He may chime in here.

Finally, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

I had a similar elect problem ( TV & Galley ) on my 03 Windsor.
At first, I didn't even realize my tv was dead it was the receptacles
I was concerned with. My problem ended up being upfront in the
receptacle where the tv plugs in. Monaco ran the wire upfront first
to the tv receptacle then it makes its way back to the slide and galley
receptacles. This is all fed by a GFCI breaker in the bedroom.

Point being, repairing the tv receptacle may fix the other receptacles too

The receptacle I was referring to is the overhead behind the TV.
Inside the tv box/cabinet. I disabled the tv ignition lockout.
Monaco made a junction in that receptacle and the wire then
continued back to the kitchen.
These wires were run in the ceiling/roof, not much 120v in the
dash if any.

Yep, that's the one. The coil is to lockout the tv when the
ignition is turned on.
I didn't like that, the wife likes to watch it while I drive.

Inside that recpt wires were twist-tied together and one had
come loose. Yours may be completely different but I had the
hardest time finally realizing the wire path went up there first
then came back to the slide/kitchen

A little non contact voltage tester can really come in handy

Did you take the front off of the breaker panel and make sure you have
120v coming out of the breaker?

One of those pencil non-contact voltage detectors can really come in
handy, you just get it close to a live wire and it starts chirping.
I think I bought mine at Lowes
