Camping world, PPL, any rv parts place, carry the universal one. I used one on my windsor. Holes matched. They are easy to shorten. Also northwest rv supply in Eugene Or. Had a lot of used ones. new also. The ladder is easy, not the paint. Dale

I have a 99" Signature Classic with no roof rack or ladder. Are there specific mounting points with backing or can you just rivet to the fiberglass?
Thanks,
Kurt

I believe they can have a whole ladder built for you if you provide the proper manf. numbers. I would think matching all the original mount holes might be kind of "iffy" though. I repaired a 3 foot section of mine for less than $50.

This kind'a scary but mine is just riveted to the fiberglass. But, I'm 240# up and down it all the time. It was a premium Fleetwood gas coach at the time .

I ALWAYS keep three points attached to the ladder in case a step fails on one side or something. Ladders can be very dangerous. I have a rope with my bucket so I can raise and lower tools keeping my hands free for climbing.

REmoved my ladder.. And hung a better one.
I had a local body man make me a pair of J" hooks, he used diamond plate bumper metal about 1.5 inch wide and bent it around a form into a J. Drilled two holes in the upright of each J and I lagged them into good solid wood under the fiberglass cap.
Then I got a stainless shower 'Assist" bar from the bath isle at Lowes or home depot and mounted it near the bottom (NOTE: get ladder first)
The ladder is a convertable Step/Extension unit extended I think mine is about 14.5 feet and that is the SHORTEST I would recommend.
It is rated 250 pounds, holds my 300+ easily. Plus as a slanted ladder it is easier to get on and off, easier to climb and work on, I also use it in step ladder mode for washing and waxing the sides. Really like it.
Ladder is a Crafstman from Sears.
ONE note of caution.. IF you use this thing alone,, Take a short rope up the ladder with you and lasso something and tie it off so it can not blow over and leave you stranded.
