The chassis (not engine) manufacturer should have it. Call with the VIN handy.

I found the Part# for the muffler but no one close has it in stock 3 to 7 days to receive it. We are on a cross country trip and I stopped yesterday at a rest area and done my usual walk around and noticed the tail pipe was barely hanging on I wiggled it and it fell to the pavement. I had about 50 miles to get out of the desert and to Tehachapi Ca. where we pulled in and stopped I called a local diesel shop and they were closing up for the day. I explained my situation and he said be at his shop 8 am this morning and he would get a muffler located and put it on...no such luck as stated earlier 3 to 7 days to have it shipped. So we decided to just straight pipe it and put my chrome tail piece back on so we could get on down the road. I was concerned about it being to loud but we drove about 150 miles today and really it's not that much louder. I might just leave it straight piped, we have another month on this trip that should give me plenty of time to decide. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the muffler when doing my routine maintenance.

Your turbo will love you for it and your EGT should be down also, and you might burn less fuel.

This all sounds good...especially the less fuel part since it's on the rise.

I just placed mine wit an aero exhaust turbine muffler. I did not weigh the difference between the 2 on scales but t least 25 pounds lighter and no noticeable increase. Built the new system out of stainless steel myself.

Now that's a big size difference.

I also replaced mine with an Aero. Finding a true replacement proved futile. Can't say I've noticed much difference, but I am legal.

When I had my 98 Dynasty and the muffler wasn't available a local industrial
muffler shop built one for me. It worked just like the old one. You could also
look at putting in a resonator.
