Need Trans Temp Sending Unit Part Number

Does anyone have the part number for the dash guage sending unit from the Allison 3000MH tranny? It is mounted in the fitting that runs from the tranny sump to the cooler and it has a 1/8 pipe thread fitting. I checked with our Monaco service center here in Chattanooga and he cannot find the p/n. I would like to have the new one before I open up the system for the oil/ filter change. Thanks in advance. BTW, I am getting no trans temp reading on the guage and the VMS also reads 0 on trans temp, so there may be another trans sending unit problem too, just want to start here since I can change it myself

I'd try a call to Monaco and Allison tech support. I ran into a situation with a local service center not being able to find a part number and the folks at Monaco pulled it right up. Good luck.

ok, I went back to the Monaco authorized repair center with a good description ( that I did not have the first time) and they found the part ($15) and are having it shipped in for me. I will post the part number when I get it. I looked under a friends 2001 Monaco with the 500HP engine and it had the exact same part on the tranny so they must be pretty common
