We took delivery of our new coach yesterday and now it sits in the driveway (almost bigger than the house ) So I guess this means I am now a former Bounder owner, called SOBs cause we drive Some Other Brand, by current owners. So far we really love the HR, but still have a lot to learn about it.

Congratulations on the new Vacationer!!!! We love our Admiral and I know that you will love your vacationer too. Make sure you join the HRRVC and check out the local HRRVC clubs in your area. Do you plan on attending the International rally in Goshen, Indiana in a few weeks? If you need any information just let me know or go to www.hrrvc.org for the info and registration form. We plan on being there and my husband is helping with parking. Hope to see you there.
We hope you enjoy the new rig for many years to come!!!

Gramps...Congrats on your new Vacationer! I am sure you will enjoy it immensely.

I would love to give you some "Monaco Karma" to add to your signature name on the left...just say "Karma Please" and you will get a good dose of it.

Again...welcome to our forum...you will find a wealth of information here!

Yes, congratulations on your new Vacationer with the UFO chassis. Looks like Monaco/HR are keeping it a secret since it is not on the HR web site.

MonacoMama,

KARMA please!
After attending two BOA national rallies, I got to see first hand how everyone loves their rigs including us. Your custom striping was ahead of its time. The current Bounders don't really look that much like Bounders either to some people.

SRT the UFO is on the HR site, but you have to hunt for it.

HR UFO

You will see it listed in the column on the right of the page.

Well, it seems the UFO coach is no longer on HRs website directly. You can still download a brochure but that's it.. Gives the name UFO even more of an ironic flavor don't it? Sure glad I bought it now cause it wouldn't be there next year.

However, what's interesting is that the '09 Vacationer brochure still shows a picture of a UFO chassis. No UFO floorplans or specs. are given. Probably, just a slip up. The '09 Monaco LaPalma brochure only has a picture of the Roadmaster Chassis.

I think they fixed that. I didn't see any coach longer than 36 feet and all have a 216" wheel base including the full wall slide unit. Too bad. The 38plt is a great coach and its too bad Monaco doesn't want to stick with a rear gasser.
