New home for bed tv
thought i would post a pic of our new location for our bed tv. moved it from the back corner, had some new cab. doors made, now have more storage for more stuff! located the new tv in the cabinet at the end of the bed. cut off the old doors and used them for trim. i'm pretty happy with the way it turned out! jim

Jim,
Great idea to put cabinets above BR window, the space is welcome. I moved the Sharp 26" from the LR to the BR and it sits on top of the base cabinet at the end of the bed and attached with latches. The original BR TV was also located in the corner which was a horrible location. Not only was it hard to see but took up a huge amount of space. I like the cabinet work you had done, it looks great. We took the cheap route with the original TV cabinet. I modified the original door frame and installed cork board and use it for pictures, etc.
Good job Jim,
mark

RVTIPS, i actually installed the tv at the beginning of last summer. used it for almost six mo. no problem! what you can't see in the pic is there is over a 1/2 inch gap on the sides between the tv and the cab. doors i cut off for the trim. if there was a heat problem i could always swing open the side trim as the are still hinged. the one thing we really like about it is the fact that its almost up to the ceiling and that sure makes it easy on the neck strain! jim
