Talking New Monaco

Picked up my new/used Monaco Signature Commander 45 yesterday. Spent our first night in it. Pulled into Camalot RV park, Malabar, FL. There was a 1999 Monaco right in front of us, a Holiday Rambler next to them, and a Beaver behind us. Classy neighborhood, huh?
The seller had a front tag "Beast". Came with a matching golf car, with tag "Beauty".
Beautiful coach, looks new. I spent a long time looking for switches. I believe there are 2 or 3 hundred. The manual is a hoot. Looks like a college text.
I am coming from a 35ft gasser. This is my first tag axle. I wanted a tag because of all I read here. I literally can't feel trucks go by, even coming the other direction.

Congrats on the new Beast. Post a couple picks so that we might fawn over it a bit. I am sure you will enjoy the added space and much improved air ride over the gasser.

I'lltake some tomorrow. Yeah, the two slideout living room is huge! The ride and stability are a giant step above.
Thanks!

Even going from a 42 to a 45, the curbs jumped out for a couple weeks. Congrats on getting a great coach!!!

HA! Yep, sharp rights, take a lane and a half if there is one! If there isn't, get as tight to the center lane as possible, and make the turn as late as possible.

Congrats !

That’s a great coach. Take your time learning it’s many systems and don’t stress over it. You’ll get there. It will just take time.

Thanks! It is a beauty. We spent an hour or two trying out all the switches. Like an easter egg hunt!

Congrats!
The Signature is a very well built coach and should last many years with some TLC

I added some small glow in the dark dots above the light switches in the kitchen and bath. It was tough to tell which of the 10 or so switches turned the lights on.
After a couple of years then it comes naturally.

That's a good tip! I was searching around trying to find them and read them with a little flashlight. (In the middle of the night.) I'll try that.
Thanks

Doesn't most of the light wall plates have a 'back light' button, which will illuminate all of the light buttons throughout the coach?
