Dennis,
Was the outlet on your old muffler centered or offset in the end?
Thanks

It's gone now, but I think it was in the center, not near the edge.

I have to give Summit Racing credit. I ordered the 2' piece of pipe at 5:59 pm on Wednesday and got a shipping notice at 11:01 pm the same day. Once it came in, it was pretty easy to cut it to length to center the exhaust tip in the cutout in the body.

I rigged up an exhaust support to make sure the pipe does't move.

The stainless ought to last as long as we own the coach.

Nice install. Your Dynasty has quite a bit of room to work with. I see the Aerotubine to the top of your picture. Is that the 5050XL?

It's a little deeper tone, but not really louder.

It's the four inch version Harry. I have lots of room all around the back end of the coach, probably because we don't have a bedroom slide.

I really like the body cutout, did you do that?, I installed a 5" muffler, same one 6 months ago and just ran it out the rear, very clean job, well done, Ron

Dennis,

I'm making a muffler decision this week, and thinking about the 5050XL. Very much appreciate the thread, and the video of it at idle was helpful. Any thoughts on it under load, or with the engine brake engaged?

I can barely hear the Cat C13 when we are driving, so I don't imagine the sound will bother me, but wondering what it will do to the communities I drive through.

Paul, I bought my Aero 5050 on Ebay for around $120.00 delivered.
