New Owner!

So the wife and I took the plunge on a 2003 Monaco Executive. Drive down to FL. with kids and flat towed my truck home. Put over 1000k miles on the rig driving back to MO.

Time for sleep now, but will have some pics and questions and time goes on.

Congratulations on your coach. We have lived in its near twin for 8 years now and can attest to the fact that it's a truly wonderful coach. If the maintenance has been kept up, you have a real jewel.

Safe travels.

Congrats on your "new to you" rig. I have had mine for 13 months and started fulltiming April 1st. It will always be a learning experience and the folks here are a GREAT source of information and help.
Safe travels and many good memories.

I hope the "k" on that mileage was a typo!

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Yeah...I was pretty wiped out after the drive home....1k miles sounds better. [emoji1]

Been going over stuff inside and out the rig. Just starting to get our stuff put in it....

Also previous owner left the electronics a mess.. So try to wade through all the wires and get it figured out. He added a newer in motion Sat on top and used some of the old wires and ran new... So it's a mess.

Also can't get the Kenwood GPS/radio to go off....the screen goes down but the buttons remain lit up after shutting every thing off.

One other thing I can figure out...I turned off the aqua hot...turned off the l.p....turned of the electric switch by the sink...and I still have hot water a day later????

One other thing....why so may different switches to turn on the lights or pumps...I guess its good thing I like to flip switches.

Thanks guys...it's going to be a steep learning curve on how things work with the coach.

That big AquaHot box in the basement holds 16 gal of coolant and it's pretty well insulated.

Congrats Acowherd on your new rig! Start putting lotion on your cheeks now, cuz you're gonna be smiling so much when you drive it that you don't want them to crack. we love ours and wish we could go more often. You've got a solid investment right there. Randy

Steve, I was wondering the same thing about my Aquahot. I can turn the switch off and 8 hours later come in and take a hot shower. Kind of thought my system was staying on but none of the lights on the panel stayed lit. Must be due to the insulation qualities of the Aquahot system.
