New Owner Here

We're in a unique situation where we lost our home to the New Mexico fires and needed a place to live for 6 months minimum while we argue with the insurance company and decide what to do. We tried a 30' TT for 2 months and it soon became evident this wasn't going to work going into winter. After determining a reasonable budget, we researched many motorhomes and settled on an older Monaco LaPalma. Looked at several early 2000 HR's and Monaco's and finally settled on a 03 LaPalma 34PDB gasser, 2 owners, with 41K miles. Drove it home 200 miles and it runs great. It's very well cared for and quite a few upgrades by PO. It does however have several small issues that I need to deal with. First on the way home the ABS light came on and the A/C kept shutting down the gen. I didn't know how to run the A/C and had both units trying to run from the gen at the same time on the road. I'm wondering if I need to set the stat to only run 1 unit on the road or maybe something else is going on. I watched the blinking lights and it appears to indicate a 23 code. Is this correct or am I in left field? Dash air is low on R134 and I'll deal with that. Has a new set of Michelins installed and serviced with full synthetic every year. I'm sure I'll have more questions later but happy to be here with other Monaco owners.

If your ABS light is on, the first thing I would do is to crawl underneath and clean the 4 sensors. You tube is your friend here.

Re the rooftop AC units, I would look into a "Soft Start" module, usually advertised on the right side of the forums. They work !!!

The dash air needs some juice ? That you can DIY.
