New owner of HR Vacationer

I just bought a 1998 HR Vacationer and I am looking for an owner manual. Also does anyone know where I can find the 7 amp fuse for the step switch? Can't get power to it to make it stay open when parked.

There may be a switch next to the door that you push to keep the step open when parked, otherwise it will go in & out every time the door is open. If it is working that tells me the fuse is good. I have a similar setup on my Monaco.

You may try to call Holiday Rambler

Their website does have an archive of manuals but it only goes back to 2000, it might be helpful to some extent.

Manuals

Good Luck

If the step is currently working there should be a small switch along with the porch light switch to the right of the door that will turn the step on and off.

The fuse should be under the access panel on top of the dash directly in front of the steering wheel. (looks like a cutout in the dash. Sometimes screwed in sometimes Velcro)

Also there is an ignition switch override circuit for the step. (Step comes in when you turn the ignition key on)
