Wink New paint job

I like to get some info and advice on full Paint shops for motorhomes, my 2006 paint job is a bit dated, and like to get a new paint job, but really don't know where to start, shop located in the Chicago area preferably, some ideas about pricing, I am sure some of you did have there coaches repainted, like to get some experiences and advise what to look for in a shop, hopefully, some recommendations. We looked at new coaches but really don't like any of the new ones, other than the Million dollar ones most are just 5th wheels with an engine strapped to it, our Sig runs great has all the amenities you can get in a coach and the Roadmaster chassis runs like dream, we test drove many new ones and only the Prevo's ride better then the Sig, so we decided to stick with what we got, I am not that angry at my money....

Chris Wright of Wright RV Repair, etc. etc. in Red Bay AL. 256-810-0763 He is your go-to guy for painting. If it is not a good idea to paint it he will tell you.
I would try compounding etc. first! Monaco put so many coats of clear coat on their RV's that you won't buff through it. Use a orbital buffer. I think this process will bring your paint back. I have a 2004 and it shines. There are different strengths of compound so start with little and go to more strength. Your paint might not be bad UNLESS the primer is showing through which happened to mine on the front cap and rear cap. Chris painted both along with new clear coat on the rails. He also clear coated the rear where it was coming off. Didn't need new paint.

Not far from Chicago, and highly regarded.

Wanted to thank the guys who replied, was hoping for more but did get in touch with "mikes painting" and got lots of info and design help from Livia at Mikes, super helpful and considering the size of our rig, pricing was reasonable and booked the slot for mid next year to get a full paint job.

I’ve heard good things about this shop. I met the owner last summer. Nice guy. They just opened a new state-of-art RV paint and body repair facility in Howell Michigan.
