New porcelain toilet

I have made a huge mistake and had a tv dealer replace my porcelain toilet with some terrible plastic piece of junk..
I tried to get it back but they said they threw it away. Which I doubt.
So now I need a new one?
Where. Any ideas where to get a new or used porcelain toilet?

Lots of RV toilets from Thetford and Dometic. Take your pick and shop them on the internet. Prices will vary a lot.

Before you purchase a new RV toilet you'll need to do some home work. Find out what model toilet was in your coach and what style flange it has. Some have more bolts than others and are not interchangeable.
A 2005 Beaver may have had the Sealand Magnum Opus toilet. Was it an electronic flush handle or button?
Dometic bought out Sealand. But, I was able to find a tech at Dometic that was familiar with the Magnum Opus and he helped me find a replacement toilet seat.

Technicians will quickly tell you the older toilets are no longer supported. But this is not entirely true. One of our IRV2 members (PWhittle) has reverse engineered the Magnum Opus electronic control board is now selling them.

Yes, do some homework first! Some of the toilets looked great until I found out the flush gate wasn't replaceable. That was a big turnoff for me. My 2004 came with a Dometic Sealand Traveler 510 Plus Series Toilet. I can replace anything that goes bad. I think I'll stick with it as long as possible.
I understand the newer 310 and 320 are not as serviceable.

Well thank you , wasn’t a electronic flush unit, but sure 100 times better than what I replaced it with. What a mistake.
Yea, the next thing is making sure I get one that can bolt up.
Boy, I am learning that RV repair places are really really very poor places to do business. You just cannot trust them one minute. I guess I am just not use to being ripped off.
To find good quality workmanship is dang near impossible nowadays.
Thank you for your reply and I will get this stool replaced hell or high water…hahahaha

When I mine a few years ago I bought a Dometic 320 from PPL online, overall I think the Dometic 320 is a good budget ceramic toilet, only bad side is it is not very repairable, when something goes wrong with one you replace it.

I replaced mine this spring with the 320 and it is working well. It has a ceramic bowel but plastic base. It is fine but it is two bolts down versus 4 from the prior one. It appeared that the ones that were similar to what I had were in the $900 range or higher and I could just not justify that expense for a 1995 model. I installed it myself which was not difficult.

New Domestic 320 for me

I replaced my Thetford auto electronic flush with a Dometic 320. Added a bidet unit at the same time. Required new holes and tile work but worth the effort. It's the single best upgrade I've done to my 2004 HR Endeavor.
Make sure to get the hose attachment for the toilet.

Buy a USED toilet? Really? Yuck! I have a Dometic 320, ceramic top half, plastic bottom half. Replaced bowl to floor gasket recently, only issue with it for last 10 years.
