New to Monaco

Just thought I'd say hi, I've been trying to read all the posts on the forum, whew, I think it will take awhile! I want to say I have never met any of the members but feel like I've known some of you for awhile! You folks are some of the nicest and most helpful I think I have run across. I bought a 1999 Monaco Diplomat last September and have had many questioned answered already just reading the posts. I want to replace the radiator hoses and coolant and I am alittle stumped on where to find new hoses. It is cummins 5.9 isb 24 valve, allison md 3060 with 52,000 miles. Looks like it has a Banks Stinger kit.(it was on a consignment lot sold to me for 39k owners were very upset and would not talk to me) sooo, I don't know that much about it's history. From what I can find it appears it hasn't been used much since 2005. I have changed oil and filter, fuel filters, and lubed chassis. Just now getting time and weather to do more maint. Couldn't stand not using it so took alittle trip to Kelso Washington for a few days, learned alittle about running electric heater, convection oven and tv on same ac ckt!(well at least I learned they were on the same ckt)
So far seems everything works ok, I like doing maint. on my rigs if I can, so willing to try most anything.
sorry for the long rambling, and thanks for the help I've already recieved

Parts should be available at any cummins store, also just about any large truck repair.

John,

Welcome aboard. This is a great forum with some knowledgeable folks. You also may want to join the Monaco group on Yahoo. There are quite a few on that board with older coaches and a wealth of information. You must submit a request to join that group but I don't think you will have a problem.
