New Wood like dash covering

Started covering dash parts this week-end. 3M-Di-NOC wood like film. Easy to apply not so easy to remove panel switches etc. Looks great and the type of apperance I was looking for . Will do center gauge panel next . Lots of things to remove to get this piece out..

source for wood like covering

IDS Finishes

The type I used is WG-364 GN one of 3 in a gloss finish.

Removed the main dash last night and I will post pics of it when

completed.

Another benifit is this film covers all the broken pieces that seem to be

common with these plactic panels.

Looks beautiful and professional.
My concern is how it will hold up under severe heat conditions.
Any reviews on that??

wood

Yes I had changed the screws with brass and grommets some time ago for
better holding of broken pieces and I liked the look better than the black screws.

The only data I have on temperature is testing 3M did.

Heat proof cycle nature. Exterior change was checked peeling or dicoloration as left under within a sepcified temp ( -22f-150f ) for 12 days after affixed on an aluminum plate;

They also tested for 28 days at 150 f

results no peeling or dicoloration found

I did use the reccomendation to use 3M 94 primer which promotes adhesion.

the material is vinyl. 8 mm thick

it can be removed if needed..

i think it will be do just time over time.. but I live in oregon and the MH is stored inside..
