So she did and they quoted us $150.00 a seat to repair and paint a finish on the leather seats. It took them about 3.5 hours to complete the work. Very pleased. You can see before, repairing and after. Save about $900.00 a seat.

I wasn't aware of refinishing leather and painting or dyeing it? Did you get the foam or padding redone?

I had no idea that this could be done, only when a upholstery shop suggested this might be the best way to go. I had my doubts too. When they first came and inspected the seats, they told us “ they are in good shape (foam) and they could refinish these seats to almost perfect.” These old Dynasty’s have good bones.

We work at an indoor RV storage business in Melbourne and they came to us and did it here. Said they could do it in the RV, but I had them out for redoing the floor.

I won’t know how they hold up for a few months, so that’s still a question mark.
They were straight up with me and said 3 or 4 years with proper care.

Well I took up all the tile and wood flooring and then removed all connections to the curb slide. I made a fixture to fit under the slide for the forklift and removed it. All went well.

Passerby, man I applaud your do-it-yourself attitude. I do as much as I can to my coach in order to save $$. Not sure I'd have the gumption to try and remove the slide. I'll definitely be following to see your progress. Keep up the great work.

Wow, the seats look great.
I'm amazed at you removing the slide. Keep up the pictures.

Today, cut out the worst area of the three bad spots. This is the back side of slide room which was totally rotten. Found some 1" marine plywood and now it's rock solid. Next front slide area which is not as bad. Last area is the toilet, which will be a challenge because of space.

Going back with tile, carpet or wood flooring.

I'm having Luxury Vinyl Tile, Mannington Cascade rectangle floor tiles installed.
Scratch resistant and waterproof. No carpet or wood.
