No headlights, help?
No headlights (hi or low), bulbs good, fuses good, relays good, no flash with smart wheel either. Power to and through the fuse, no power to the relay.
We do have tail lights and tail flash with smart wheel.
Out of places to look. I 'think ' I found the smart wheel control box. In a really bad location to access.
Ideas?

Added. Tested the board the relay plugs into. Nothing at any connection, whether the switch is on or off. I had power at 1 connection during one test, but the last one nothing.
The relay right next to it for parking lights has power at 1 and then 2 when switch is activated.
The power I had at the headlight relay during one test was a different terminal than compared to the parking light relay.
Circuit board?

Sounds like a bad headlight switch.

That's what I keep coming back to. I tested each connection and they all functioned properly though. :(
I may try it it next chance I get.
Thanks for the input!

Though...a headlight switch wouldn't stop the flash feature from the smart wheel.
It has to be in the circuit somewhere.

Do you have tilt steering wheel? I recently spent 2 days trying to resolve headlight issue on a Ford E-450 school bus. Checked everything twice, at least. Finally found a broken wire inside steering wheel cover going to turn signal/high-low headlight switch. If the steering wheel was tilted ALL the way down, it stretched almost all of the wires. Fixed the broken wire and headlights now work as advertised. Good luck.

Timely, just going through wiring diagrams. I am also thinking the turn signal hi/lo switch. Hi/lo doesn't feel right when moving it and there is no high beam indicator on dash .
Yes it is tilt and tele.
Thanks

After going cross eyed looking at wiring diagrams a realized I have several relays not shown on the diagrams.
It turns out this has the 'dim headlight relay ' mod installed from the factory.
The relay on the right (where o am pointing ) is for the headlights. The one next to it for the smartwheel flash.
So easy...but took forever to find.

Glad I found it too! 3/18 is just the date I replaced it. 3/18 is the relay for the smartwheel, also not on the diagrams.
