Norcold 1200 Cooling Fan Wiring?

One of my fans somehow broke off a fin and is now making a horrible noise. I was able to reach up and inside the access panel to get it unscrewed but cannot figure out where the wires connect. They run up towards the roof.

Can I access the connection for this from the top cover or do I need to pull the unit? It so - how complicated a project is that?

Fridge in a slide ?

The heat sensor for the fans , is visible through the top vent if fridge is in a slide .

Ok , I doubt you can access the sensor and wiring trough the roof vent .

So; unfortunately ; the fridge has to be removed from it's cabinet to get at the wires.

Do you have your fridge's manual ?
The manual should contain the installation instructions , so you just reverse the procedure.
Shut off and disconnect propane , 12 volt wiring and 120 V cord.
Usually 2 screws at the rear, one at each side at the back of the bottom frame rail ; accessed through the lower vent ( as in black circle in picture below ) and 6/8 around the front flange , then the fridge will slide forward.
If you're working by yourself you'll need a sturdy platform to slide the fridge onto as you move it forward .

I don't need to access the sensor..... I need to access the fan wiring. I already have the fan unscrewed (not easy and a very tight squeeze) but I don't know where the fan wiring plugs in??

!2 volt power runs up to the sensor , then back down to the fans .

Sensor is near the top of the chimney .

Might be easier to cut the wire and reconnect to the new fan ;BUT; mounting the new fan will be easier with the fridge forward .

Not a big job , little over an hour to pull and replace fridge . Your call .
