Smile Novice Trailer Owner

Hi.
We just purchased our first trailer. 2007 Holiday Rambler Aluma Lite 2830. We need a manual. Any ideas where we can get one?

Thanks for your help

Welcome !!

Manuals are generally just guides that tell you not to "use the hair dyer in the bathtub". Get on line and download manuals for your individual components if you want something useful. Getting the info necessary to do that will also familiarize you with the component locations.
There are many good folks here to offer help and advice, glad you could join the party

Glad you joined the group.

Like he said manuals are very difficult to find and they are too generic when you do find them.

The trailer manual is helpful, certainly, but is pretty generic. Get on line for installation and operation manuals for every component you can identify.

I made my own ‘manual’ for winterizing and de-winterizing mine. It gives me step-by-step directions, a list of tools, etc.

I have a binder with all of the hard copy manuals I can find, and electronic versions on a tablet. Where we camp there is no internet service, so I cannot search for answers on line if I don’t have them.

On our first trip out with our latest rig the refrigerator quit. Having a manual in hand for that specific unit let us decipher the fault code and get back in business.

If you are in a campground, there are likely to be people around who can help you figure things out if you are really stuck.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Congrats on the new rig! Most owner's manuals are too generic to be much use anyway. You can write down the make and model numbers of the individual systems and Google for manuals! Be safe, have fun, and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Holiday Ramber

Thank you all for your replies about having a manual. That was very helpful. I will begin to look at our component manuals.

Since the manuals often cover a range of models, I snapped a picture of the model info of my specific appliances to put in my home-made user manual. That was I have the specific into always at hand. Example:
