Now i did it....broke a switch!

The rocker cover on the "entry step" switch fell off. Upon inspection I cannot locate any broken plastic. What is proper repair?

It may look like nothing is broken, but in fact something is. Order a new rocker switch cover and it should stay connected. deSanford

If this is a Carling switch, the Lid, or Actuator just snaps on and yes they do fail. When failed a tiny piece of plastic near the center on one or both undersides has broken. Only repair is to replace the Actuator. Try North West Supply as they did have a few. If they don't have it, you will have to buy the complete switch.

Stan:
Try Northwest Supply or there is a guy on Ebay that has a bunch of Carling switches. Search Monaco motor home switches. You'll have to buy a new switch, but its easy to pop the "switch plate" off, which in your case is already done and replace with the new one. Be careful as the "tabs" that hold it on are very delicate. Don't ask me how I know.
Good luck,
Mike
