Oasis RV Park Las Vegas
I just tried reserving online for one month starting in late October of this year. I got a reply saying they are sold out for those dates.
Wow is that normal for a reservation this far in advance at the Oasis?

Yes, the weather is just starting to cool off in Nevada and starting to get cold in the Northern states and Canada

Go back and call them direct a live person can usually see something a computer can’t. Ir not get on their waiting list. I too think it’s ridiculous you have to make reservations so far in advance

Ridiculous???? Not so much.
Unfortunate, "Yes"
The main objective of owning an RV campground is to have it occupied. It's unfortunate for you and others but if someone else made their reservation before you, then the old saying, "First come, first served" really applies

Oasis RV Park Las Vegas
If you have the funds to part with, Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort near there is beautiful.

Yep early bird gets the worm for sure...I guess I should have been earlier. I will keep trying though and simply make a phone call instead.
The Las Vegas Motorcoach website is down for maintenance but I assume it is more pricey than the Oasis.
After doing some reading it appears our 2003 Monaco Windsor may not meet LV Motorcoach standards. Too old?

I was just on it and it worked. Yes it is about 2,000 per month that time of year, but VERY nice. You should be fine in your 03. We have stayed there many times in our 02 Eagle.

Three years ago, we stayed at the Oasis. Nice resort, with lots of high end rvs, and a nice clubhouse with restaurant and amenities. Two years ago, we stayed at Sams Town. It was not as fancy, but was half price, had security, and had the casino next door. It had a pool, and small store. The casino had restaurants etc. You could get a free shuttle to all the downtown attractions from the casino as well.

Yep that is definitely pricey...quite a bit more than the Oasis. My wife would love the surroundings though.

We might end up having to stay at one of the less fancy rv parks and I'm sure will be fine. Just not quite ready to settle yet. This would be our first rv trip to Vegas. We've been there many times and stayed at the Vdara and Four Seasons. My wife likes nice digs when on vacation, me I'm okay with a decent rv park with full hookup. The closer to the strip the better.

There is a park at Circus Circus. i have not stayed there. Avoid main street station park downtown, unless you want a divorce.

Wait until the Raiders start playing there. That should be interesting.

I have tried many times to get in the Oasis and they are always full. I will be in.Vegas in a few days and have reserved the month of April at Las Vegas RV Resort. A lot less than LV Motorcoach or Oasis. They have a cap on your electric bill as well. $125 in winter and $175 in summer, but if you use less you pay less.
