OAT antifreeze expensive mistake

When my coach broke down in 2015 in Ohio it was towed to Cummins for repair.
They changed the EGR cooler and put in new antifreeze. I decided to check the SCA. called Cummins in Ohio to find out what coolant they used They said ES Compleat went to another Cummins with the coolant sample and asked for teststrips, I was buying other stuff and the counterman gave them to me.

When I checked the SCA there was non present so I added some SCA additive and left for my trip to FL. Now I have discovered the coolant was E S Compleat OAT that contains no SCA's Called Cummins about this they say I contaminated the coolant. Coolant has to be replaced and system flushed with distilled water twice and refill system with proper coolant. I feel they should have marked the coolant reservoir with the type of coolant used or at least given me a heads up on it.

I also asked Cummins what test strips I should be using they told me to use

OAT

finishing story

Test strips CC8997 as that is the only one they recommend as it test for PH and Nitrates.

I am flushing and changing in FL before I leave for my trip back to NY

That is how I found the mistake I made I looked at the invoice it said 6 gal OAT.

Cummins In OHIO did the conversion to the OAT coolant, they did not follow their own instructions. ( Place Label on or near the Radiator when making the conversion To OAT)

I take some of the blame for not being more diligent about the correct coolant

So far I have drained the radiator and done the first flush, will finish tomorrow Bought Peak Final charge OAT coolant from NAPA and 28 gal distilled water from Walmart.

The directions I was given by Cummins about the coolant is no where near the information that was in the Link provided by RobRoy.

Just adds to the confusion about OAT coolant
When in doubt err on the side of caution
change the coolant

Where is this "Label" available? Does anyone know?
I Googled for "OAT label" and similar worded searches and can not find anything. I want to put a OAT label on my coach to avoid similar mistake.

The OP replaced the original coolant with Peak OAT and he stuck a label near the overflow tank. It looks like it was cut off the carboard box the gallon containers came in.

I would have sworn that the container said it was "Compatiable with all Antifreezes".

Here was my solution for showing what fluids were in the engine and transmission. The old warning sticker was worn and faded so I made a new sign and added all the fluids.
