It does make you wonder why. It's ironic that we pony up billions or trillions defending the interests of big oil. You should be proud and honored to have such a compassionate son.

Thanks, all! You know, I raised him as a single Mom most of his life, and it wasn't always easy... in fact it mostly wasn't easy. The life I am blessed to enjoy now didn't exist then, and I am thankful every day for what I (and we) get to enjoy, and most importantly, that my son turned out pretty darn good.
If I can be indulgent for a moment... he wrote that song, plays every instrument on it, wrote, directed, and filmed every bit of that video (except the filming of the shots he's in... he supervised that), and edited and produced it. I'm crazy emotional when I watch it. Thanks for letting me share.
