Oil pan depth Cummins 8.3 ISC 350 HP

My manual says standard pan 5.3 gal deep sump pan 7.6 gal.

Can anyone tell me how deep either pan is? Not a Huge deal i will figure it out one way or another but i thought with the deep knowledge base here someone might know.

Thanks!

You can down load Cummins QuickServeMobile app. Enter your engine serial number and your pan capacity will be listed.

Quick serve with your engine serial number will give this info.

I can find the part number, but the parts list doesn't say what capacity it is so I don't know if 7 1/4" is for the regular or deep sump.

If you go thru from assembly part number under the tabs, it will bring up the actual part number or revised part#. I don’t think it gives capacity. But it will be what was installed at factory initially.

Perry, you know I just went out and measured for the OP right? I don't need to know anything about my oil pan.

Thanks Guys I will just see how it goes filling it. maybe it will be obvious how much I need before start up and recheck. Just trying to buy the correct amount of oil the first time and not starting it with it low. If I have a deep pan the 5.3 gallons. will probably show low right away.

thanks!

Someone with a manual. Can respond with amount of quarts. There’s initial and oil filter amounts.
