This is an update to our previous post when I said we fired our dealer.

We love our 2007 La Palma and can't wait until its back home. We expected there to be problems with the coach we would need to get fixed. However, a courteous, efficient, customer service-focused dealership can make all the difference in your experience and enjoyment of the RV. Your satisfaction will also affect your future decisions and we're happy with Monaco for realizing our unhappiness and referring us to a dealer that obviously has a proven track record.

With the help of Monaco, we are now working with our new dealer, Robert Crist & Co. of Mesa, AZ to complete our warranty fixes and repairs. In two days they had half a dozen parts on order, were getting approval for other items, and in another 3 days had discovered the resolution to problems that have been prohibiting our use and enjoyment since the very first day we bought the coach from the "fired dealer". Robert Crist & Co. is fixing repairs made by the selling dealer and discovering there are issues the selling dealer said were not. They are not ignoring issues or just making a note of them, but rather are willingly fixing problems.

The service team at Robert Crist & Co. has been very professional and courteous, and has kept us updated during the first week on their progress and what the timeframe is for the remaining issues. This is an entirely different (good) experience.

We have no affiliation with this company and have never done business with them before now. Wish we had.

FINALLY DONE! We spent the day with our dealer, Robert Crist & Company RV in Mesa, AZ, and they have completed all our pending warranty work. The service team and technician were the most professional, courteous, knowledgeable, experienced staff that we have worked with in a long time, in any industry. When they initially saw our La Palma in September they found items to fix we didn't even realize. When we reported a small amount of water on our back wall after a severe monsoon storm, they resealed the rear and front caps and received approval from Monaco to reseal the entire roof - all vents and ducts on the roof. They installed our new table, replaced wall trim that the other dealer had installed (wrong color), replaced shorted wiring in the ceiling for the fan and replaced the fan, repaired sewer plumbing that the other dealer had tried to fix, ordered 2 service bulletin repair kits for the speaker noise fix, corrected battery cabling, installed flexible hoses at the water pump, AND THE BIG ONE == they fixed the dash AC that had never worked!!! Yippeeee!
There are probably other items they repaired or fixed that I'm forgetting, but I'm happy to say we are done with this! They were excellent to work with and we highly recommend them.

Are you still sitting at Robert Crist...or have you made it home?

Now you can find some "small things' to have done at the rally...huh!

We made it home by 5 PM and got her all cleaned up and into storage for a few days. Although we did have a good time sleeping and spending time in it and would have been happy for one more night in their yard.

I did have a couple minor window shade annoyances, but our 'new favorite technician, George' took care of everything we could think of. If we don't have any problems for the Monaco techs at the rallies, we will be happy <STRIKE>campers</STRIKE> er, motorhomers.
