Outside Grab Handle ?
I have a '06 Holiday Rambler Endeavor that I purchased last Oct. It is a great motorhome. Since we've owned the motorhome the entry way outside grab handle has never lit up when the porch light is switched on. My question is should it be a lighted handle? I know that the lighted handles have a bulb in either the top or bottom attaching bracket but I don't want to remove the handle and risk tearing the gasket if I don't have to. My Endeavor is a 40PDQ. Do they have a lighted outside grab handle or not?
Thanks

I don't know of any Endeavors or Diplomats that had lighted handles from the factory. My 2007 Diplomat didn't.

Maybe a picture of the handle would help. There should be a way to remove the outside cover at the top and bottom base of the handle.

Try turning the step lights on, that's when my handle light comes on. I have a Dynasty though.

Your coach didn't come with a lighted handle. Many of us added it. I tried all types of LED's that just didn't look right and wasted money. Eventually, I found out that the replacement bulb (for coaches with lights) worked really well and only cost about $10.00.
You can add the light at either end of the handle. You have to remove the chrome brackets and install the bulb. The hard parts is wiring to the porch or stairwell lights. You'll have to drill through the coach wall and into the passenger right armrest panel.

Thanks everyone.
Don, thank you for explaining what you had to do to light the handle. That is more effort than what I want to do. If it was only a matter of connecting a prewired socket and adding a bulb then I would do it.
I will just leave it alone.

Garbageman.....It was a lot of work for the bragging rights to say it lit up, but that soon wore off and we hardly ever turned it on.

This might help. I have since changed from the white light bulb to a color changing one.
