Overhead Cabinet Removal/Mounting

I am in the process of redoing the TV in the front of my 2006 Ambassador, replacing the 24" RCA monster with a 32" LCD. I need 3" more width for the larger TV, so I have removed all of the wood TV mountings, as well as the overhead cabinet directly to the right of the TV, and in the process removed the cabinet over the entry door. I had a hard time getting out the cabinet over the entry door, and when I finally wrestled it down, I found that Monaco had 2 screws holding the front of the cabinet to the ceiling, but they were screwed in FROM ABOVE. They stripped out of their attachment to the 1x1 they were screwed into. I tried to get access to the heads of these screws above the ceiling, but I can't get to them.
Does anyone know how to get to these screw heads for reassembly, or I am open to recommendations on reattaching the front of these cabinets to the ceiling. ( I don't actually store anything in these cabinets since they are hard to get to, so maybe those attachments aren't even necessary??).
Thanks in advance

I once moved a wall in in a bathroom in a TT and had the same issue. When I reinstalled the wall I cut the existing screws off and installed new screws through the top plate of the wall into the studs in the ceiling. Worked good. I was also able to install additional screws for better stability.
