Paint Code Help

I have located my paint codes per this label in the rear closet.

I cannot seem to make any sense of them and thought I might get by with a little help from my friends.

Are these PPG NAPA codes listed here or whatever?

I did some Google-ing and seem to only get more confused

Here is a pic of those codes Click image for larger version

Thanks in advance

I had the same issue when trying to get some touch up paint for my Monaco.
I finally got in touch with industrial finishes in Eugene, OR. They were wonderful to deal with and shipped the paint to a local dealer.
Hopefully they can help you!

I am repainting some of my 98 Dynasty and I am going down to Bellingham Wa to pick
up some paint on Friday as they can't sell it here in Canada. I found the place by
googling basf diamont paint and looking at basf refinishing find a distributor.

Yahtzee!

I called Industrial Finishes and talked to Tony.
541-485-1503.

These are BASF / Diamont colors as described in the updated picture.

Tony is sending me the formulations for all these colors so that I can have them made up locally here and what he suggested to do for small quantities.

I got my paint codes from Monaco. I then went to the BASF website and found a local distributor of the Diamont paint. I had to repaint 3 basement doors a touch up the front slide (my wife said the post at a filling station jumped out at her). The color match was perfect, I am an amateur at body work, my bother has done a lot and could hardly tell where I did the repar.

True you can buy local with the codes. Big BUT...they need to be mixing BASF. The depth of color in our paints comes from the amounts of silvers/metallic. Paint guy showed me the mix for PPG with about four shots of color $18 a pint and BASF about $45 with about twice the color ingredients for the same paint code. Sprayed side by side one matches perfectly the cheap stuff close but noticeably different.

Save yourself some re work...glad it was on my buddies coach and not mine.

I have been chasing this for a time.

Sherwin Williams is the cross

They had the colors on file using Sherwin Williams paint.

They can do up spray cans. It is about $40 a can because the Sherwin Williams stuff is expensive.

The lady was very helpful and had the paint codes on file. I bought some PPG at a local store and it is only close and as mentioned did not have the deep metallics.

I have not received the paint yet so cannot attest to its color match yet.

I'm afraid the original paint is not going to match the original since it is 13 year old paint. It will be close but..........

You could probably take a cover of the fridge or water heater and they might do a better match.
