Yes, it is.

It is very entertaining watching those body guys work with claw hammers and pieces of wood, no body hammers or dollies.

When they are doing the body work be sure to speak up when they haven't done a good finishing job. It's better to speak up before paint.

Anyone from last year make it?

Hi, was curious if the folks that said they were going to Rocky Point made it this year? How much did it cost now in 2019, and how was the border crossing back into the US with a big rig + toad. Thanks for any updated info!!

Goofy: You should be aware that there are good bodsy shops in Mexico. Rocky Point is not one of those places. No paint job can turn out well when they are painting at your campsite. Might be Ok for a small area. remember they have to make the paint fast drying. The good body shops are indoors and often have a paint booth! They use high quality paint. There is one in Las Alagadones just across the border from Yuma. he does a great job. They sand the whole vehicle. remove awnings. Even have an upholstery shop. I am not up to date but larger MH's ere around $5000 to $6000. Navarros is the name of the shop. He carries an American cell phone. Most people rate his work as between 8 and 9 out of 10. You get what you pay for.

Navarro Bros in Los Algodonnes does very nice work. Access I can't speak to but they would be able to tell you. I looked at them a year ago, easy to find just cross border go 1 blk them right 3 or 4 blks. Nice people to talk to, do cars trucks and rv's. They were prepping a tag axle rv while I was there. They have a paint booth that fits motor homes. Check out their facebook page for pictures. Good luck.

Does anyone know if they will paint a cargo trailer to match your coach? We are considering buying a 24 ft cargo trailer but the DW wants it to match the coach. My coach paint doesn’t need any work so maybe I could take pictures of the coach and take the trailer over with a pickup.

Thoughts?

They will paint your toenails to match for a buck. They are all entrepreneurs; not a socialist in the bunch!

I think they have a cousin a few blocks away who is a dentist and will cap your teeth with colored veneers to match also.

Here are some pics that show the work. There was damage on the drivers side from a run in with a post at a campground which cost 4K to repair. The refurb was 15K. That was the price we negotiated for the work and we are happy with the results.Click image for larger version
